Linshuang Lu will conduct a CFO Roundtable and also present on Engaging in Healthy Conflict. Many of us are afraid of conflict, because we have poor experiences with it. Healthy conflict, or rather, healthy debate, can play an important role for a company. We want to create a culture where people feel the freedom to share their perspectives and ideas and engage in productive dialogue and decision-making. This workshop provides practical framework and skills for creating a company culture that can engage in healthy disagreement at all levels.
Ginny Vanderslice will conduct a CEO Roundtable and also present Leadership Development: Succession Planning for Long Term ESOP Sustainability. An ESOP company’s sustainability hinges on developing leadership capacity at all levels of the company. If people are prepared to step into leadership positions whenever openings occur or if companies know they will have to initiate an external search and can do so in plenty of time to test out new hires, then companies have less risk
and, therefore, more stability. This session will focus on how companies can develop succession processes for key positions, and the role that leadership development programs can have in building leadership capacity for eventual succession.
