Employees of KRB Machinery, a 38-year-old York County, Pennsylvania company that manufactures rebar fabrication equipment, became co-owners of the business in April 2024.
According to the Central Penn Business Journal, KRB Machinery president and CEO Nathan Kauffman "emphasized the significance of education in the transition process, highlighting the company’s investment in employee training through partnerships with organizations like Praxis Consulting."
Praxis consultant Lindsay Shafer collaborated with KRB Machinery leaders to design and implement their rollout, internal and external communications, and employee education around the ESOP. SES ESOP Strategies, a national advisory firm, developed KRB Machinery's ESOP legal structure.
