Marsha Wesley Coleman is an experienced organizational development practitioner and executive coach whose work focuses on organizational culture, management and leadership development, and Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB). She also works with organizations tomanage conflict, lead with intention, and support historically marginalized groups.
Most recently, Marsha served as the Director of Learning and Development at Friends Services Alliance for 13 years, where she provided a wide range of leadership development and services for senior teams and staff of all levels across a number of FSA affiliates.
We've had the privilege of collaborating with Marsha for many years within Philadelphia’s organization development community, particularly through her role as an adjunct faculty member in the Organizational Development and Leadership Program at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. We look forward to incorporating her extensive skills and experience into our practice.

Matt Hancock and Lindsay Shafer are now Principals at Praxis. They join eight other employee-owners at our 100% employee-owned firm.
Matt Hancock originally joined Praxis in 2015. Matt and his children moved to Italy for three years in 2021 and he returned to the US and to Praxis in 2024. Matt’s work focuses on helping organizations develop ownership cultures that are inclusive, resilient, and innovative. In addition to his experience with and passion for employee owned organizations, Matt has extensive experience working with labor-management partnerships and nonprofit organizations. Matt began his work with employee-owned businesses while studying Cooperative Economics at the University of Bologna, in Italy. He authored a book, “Compete to Cooperate,” about the cooperative movement there.

Lindsay Shafer joined Praxis in 2021. Lindsay provides ESOP communication, leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), strategic planning, and other organization development services to nonprofits and employee-owned companies. Lindsay has over 15 years of experience as a facilitator and trainer and project manager. Since joining Praxis, Lindsay has become a highly regarded consultant in the employee ownership space, earning the trust of both our clients and the advisor community.

Molly Mead has retired from Praxis after serving as a senior consultant since 2017. She worked extensively in the employee ownership and nonprofit sectors, helping companies with strategic planning, financial literacy, organizational design, and change management. She led successful strategic planning projects that resulted in clear direction and shared commitment for our clients.
A long-time faculty member at Amherst College, Molly deepened our capabilities around effective teaching and storytelling, and she was known for designing and facilitating interactive training programs. Molly also strengthened our diversity, equity, and inclusion practice, guiding our clients towards creating becoming workplaces where all people could feel welcomed, valued, respected and heard.
