We are very happy to announce Kathleen McInerney Kane as the next President of Praxis Consulting Group!
From the inception of our firm over thirty years ago, Ginny Vanderslice, Alex Moss, and Nancie Zane shared a passion for the impact we could have in the employee-ownership and nonprofit spaces. We are now transitioning leadership of the firm to the next generation, who will continue delivering excellent service to our clients and support Praxis’ ongoing growth.
Kathleen McInerney Kane is succeeding Alex Moss as President. We welcome her to this new role effective immediately. Kathleen joined Praxis in 2012, following years of leading practices in both large and boutique consulting firms.

And, she has melded her extensive wisdom into our practice, deeply enhancing our capabilities, while immersing herself in the values and unique structures of our clients. She and Linshuang are the ideal combination to guide our practice into the future.”
Alex will continue as Founding Principal for the foreseeable future, focusing on clients in his practice areas of ESOP culture, governance, and leadership succession.

Within Praxis, we’ll continue to uphold Alex’s commitment to integrity and fairness.”
Linshuang Lu will expand her responsibilities as Managing Principal, overseeing key marketing and operations of the firm. She will continue to lead our nonprofit practice and play an active role in the employee ownership community. Kathleen and Linshuang will continue to balance client work alongside their enhanced firm leadership.
Linshuang says, “We have a strong foundation to build on, and I’m looking forward to collaborating with Kathleen to further enhance how Praxis can help our clients develop their leaders and strengthen their organizations.”
As a 100% employee-owned firm, we have carefully considered our own succession process. We worked with an external consultant over the last nine months to map out what the firm needs moving forward and how the leadership structure can best support that. We are confident that in Kathleen and Linshuang, we have the values, the depth, and the vision to guide Praxis through our next chapter.
